AutoHarvest Foundation Update - October 2013
The AutoHarvest ecosystem is increasingly energized by our members and users searching, discovering, connecting and transacting intellectual property solutions for advanced manufacturing technologies. In response to international membership, now spanning 15 countries, AutoHarvest has formed an alliance with Italy based Omniatext, a global translation company highly skilled in technical material. We are proud to announce that through Omnia-group’s pro bono work, the AutoHarvest public website is now available in 5 languages: English, Chinese, French, German and Italian. This multilingual platform brings us one-click-closer ™ to helping our members find synergy and accelerate the adoption of innovation. Located in the heart of the NAFTA automotive cluster, this month we focus on our neighbor to the North, Canada. The advanced manufacturing community is growing and we are proud to partner with many of its academic, government and industrial centers of excellence—University of Windsor, APMA, Auto21, Alberta and ACE at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Joining this roster is the Naval Sea Systems Command, San Diego’s CONNECT and autonomous vehicle expert Mechatroniq.
Innovation Hub members continue to expand their array of smart tools to help innovators and commercializers bring new product to market. This month we are delighted to announce new Innovation Hub Content. Intellectual property law firm Brooks Kushman is offering a free copy of it’s IP Legal Primer, an essential tool for innovators. The International Economic Development Council in conjunction with the Rockefellers Brothers Fund is providing a comprehensive analysis of the emerging Electric Vehicle industry, also available for download. In addition, must read articles from IM and IAM discussing Open Innovation and Intellectual Property will prove educational.
We are excited this week to join many at the first Select USA summit in Washington, D.C. which showcases America’s high performance local economies to potential overseas partners.
