Deciding to continue research or product development depends on a clear path towards obtaining, maintaining and monetizing intellectual property. Like many in Congress, we are concerned that the innovation marketplace is disrupted by abusive patent litigation. To help you, important new resources are now in the Innovation Hub. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has provided their "Litigation Tool Kit", and Article One Partners (AOP) offers powerful patent analysis services driven by an expert crowdsource community skilled in prior art. Recently the White House and the USPTO endorsed crowdsourcing as an essential method to analyze patents, as described in the AOP White Paper below.
Innovations and resources from the French National Lab CEA-LIST now populate the ecosystem offering access to technologies in smart and complex systems. University of Minnesota is featuring its work in advanced manufacturing, and 3D Printsmith is featuring its 3D printing capabilities. In addition, Innovation Hub member Industrial Interface has created a special report summarizing the manufacturing landscape in 5 states and IM and IAM provide deep insights into the innovation process and marketplace conditions.
We will be exhibiting at numerous industry expos and hope to see you at one of these outstanding events. Please contact us to join a WebEx, scheduled on our website.
