TARDEC SBIR - Department of Defense 2017.1 Release
The U.S. Army TARDEC Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program has released ten Topics as part of the Department of Defense
2017.1 release
. Annually, the DoD SBIR budget represents more than $1 billion in research funds. Over half of the awards are to firms with fewer than 25 people and a third to firms of fewer than 10. The TARDEC Topics this release range from: water quality and purification, to innovative bridging, to improvements for transmissions and fuel quality projects. Historically, a quarter of these projects go to first time applicants.
